Description: Dunval Hall was originally the seat of the Acton family who lived here for about 200 years during the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries The building is a late 16th century timber-framed manor house with symmetrical projecting wings. This watercolour of the Hall dates from the 19th century and was painted by John Homes Smith.
