Description: It was in 1792 that John Rose moved his china works from Jackfield to Coalport to create the Coalport China Works. The factory produced finely decorated bone china up until 1926. Today the factory has been converted into one of several Ironbridge Gorge Trust museums. Here you can learn first hand about some of the techniques employed in the decoration of fine china and see a large collection of original work.
