Description: Thomas Corbett's ironworks was probably the best known foundry in the area. This photograph shows the iron works after the fire of November 20th 1905, which gutted the building. It was rebuilt after this fire, although the clock was never properly rebuilt. Thomas Corbett died in 1917, but his executors kept the business going until 1929, when it was closed and adapted into an oil blending works, known today as Morris' oil.
