Lines written in Ludlow Castle

Description: The two princes mentioned in this poem are the sons of Richard, the Duke of York. Richard was the leader of the Yorkists during the Wars of Roses (1455-1487). Richard sent his sons, who were later crowned as Edward IV (1461-1483) and Richard III (1483-1485), to be raised at Ludlow Castle. This poem was written by George H. Parkinson on 30th March 1861.
