Bridge at Snailbeach lead mines

Bridge at Snailbeach lead mines

Date: 2004

Description: This photograph shows a bridge at Snailbeach lead mines as it looked in 1961. Some of the supports for the bridge are still in place, as are the iron rails running beneath. The bridge was built as part of the Snailbeach District Railway that was opened to traffic in 1877.
